A picture is worth a thousand words, and probably more if there are actually words on it… so…

I can’t wait! I’ve been watching this show since season 1, when they actually had good writers and everything. Now that the quality is, well, uneven at best, I can pick on it while fanboying at the same time. It should be tons of fun.

Here’s the final Big Brother recap of the season! Schoonie, Flipit and I tag-teamed on this one so we could turn around a 2-hour show extra super fast. The BB finale is always bittersweet: Boo, it’s over! Yay, I get three hours of my week back! (Or in the case of this season, more like ten, counting the time it takes to write a recap.)

So here it is, my last solo recap of Big Brother season 11! The two-hour finale is Tuesday, September 15, and each recapper (there are three of us) will be taking a third of the show. There are some format changes, which should make things a little more interesting than past BB finale nights. Hope to see you there!

After much cursing at Ecto, my recap of last night’s Big Brother is up. I could tell you a long sad story, but the short version is that I wrote, edited, screencapped and posted the thing, only to watch in horror at 4 am as Ecto ate all 1800 words of it. (And yes, I saved. Obsessively.) Luckily I had a first draft in Scrivener, which never ever lets me down, and recovery was just a matter of remembering all my edits and screencaps. So I only lost one more hour of sleep than necessary.

Needless to say, I’ll be doing the whole thing in Scrivener from now on, right up to paste-and-post. Whew.

So yeah, enjoy the stinkin’ recap.
